Folks have approached us about releasing their music a few times now, but this is the first instance in which it was not only a "yes" from us, but a very obvious one. If you're at all familiar with the output of band leader Shane Dupuy (Anthropophagous, Tortured Skull, many more), you know the man simply does not miss, and Highball is no exception.

Do you like 70s hard rock? If so, you like Highball. There are bits of pub rock, bootboy glam, and proto metal present here, but at the end of the day, it's just good old fashioned hard rock 'n' roll at its most compelling. Lyrics about the hellish slog of working life and loving your girl? Present. Riffs that evoke the best parts of Budgie, Slade, Thin Lizzy, and UFO? Yeah, man. If this doesn't get you wanting to chuck a pint of Guinness at a stranger's head and start brawling, sell your record collection and get into geocaching or some shit, because you're false.

We could go on and on about this record, but suffice it to say, even one listen will have you humming these songs to yourself in the car. This is some of the most well-crafted hard rock in recent memory, and we're humbled to have a hand in its release.
